Glacier National Park

After Yellowstone in March I made my way up to visit a friend who lives just outside of Glacier National Park. Last time I had been to Glacier was in 2010 on my road trip up to Alaska, but I didn’t see much then since the Going to the Sun Road was closed. This time, it was still early season, but since I had a local with me she knew where to go.

We went hiking/falling up Apgar Mountain. The soft snow made it difficult walking and slowed us down so we didn’t make it all the way to the top.

Fell constantly

We went cross country skiing near Marias Pass on a trail that turned out to also be the Contintental Divide Trail.
