Lake Clark National Park, Alaska

Yesterday I hopped on a flight across the Cook Inlet to Chinitna Bay in Lake Clark National Park. We were delivering kit to the film crew out there and there was room for me on the plane! I had never been there before so I jumped at the chance to hitch a ride over.

We saw several bears while flying over but they were far out on the tidal flights. Once we unloaded the film crew's equipment we went for a quick stroll to where the crew was at on the beach.  I checked out the area because we send day trip guests over there sometimes when the weather is too bad to fly to Katmai National Park. It was also a really warm day, well relatively warm, about 68 degrees.

And here are a few pictures from a Homer Harbor Dock Tour with Center for Alaska Coastal Studies that I went on a few weeks ago.

I've also been a garage sale fanatic lately. I've gotten some nice finds! I got a bike yesterday!
