For the past several years I have shifted my focus from writing blogs and travel essays on here to editing videos and growing my YouTube channel (as of 2024 I am monetized!). I find that most people are more inclined to watch videos than to read articles so I’ve decided to spend my time working on videos over writing, plus I love having a video scrapbook of my adventures. I do, however, still write sometimes long and occasional philosophical Instagram posts so I figured I could just share those posts on here along with photos and utilize the time I already spent to write a caption and cross post. Enjoy

I did do a piece on here about hiking the Laugavegur Trail.

My friend John accompanied me for the first half of the trip. We rented a car and drove along the Ring Road out to Diamond Beach and camped along the way. I took my Dad’s camera and was able to capture some extraordinary landscapes.

After the road trip we made our way back to the outskirts of Reykjavik for a week long petsit.
