Fraser, Colorado

Scratch that last post ↓ ... I'm still in Colorado. After going back and forth several times whether to move on after my seasonal Forest Service gig or stay and work at a ski resort I have decided to stay in Colorado for the winter season. I love skiing and snow and feel as though I have not gotten enough of it in my life. I didn't want to leave and regret not taking advantage of being in a place with so many skiing opportunities.
As of now I've been living here in Fraser for 3 weeks and I work at Winter Park Ski Resort. This is my 3rd ski resort job since my first one in Oregon seven years ago. I'm having a great time out here and feel overwhelmed with all the snowplay opportunities at my doorstep. I've gone snowshoeing just 10 minutes away in Arapaho Roosevelt National Forest. I bought some used cross country skis and have tried them out at a nearby nordic center. And of course I am on the mountain at least once a week skiing miles and miles at Winter Park. I work at the tubing hill so I get my fill of tubing as well. I plan on iceskating on Evergreen lake, snowmobiling, and visiting other ski resorts around CO this season.
